The sheriff sales are published by property location in the Daily Local News and the Somerset Record newspapers in accordance to rule 3129.2 (Notice containing the information required: a brief description of the property to be sold, its location, any improvements, the judgment of the court on which the sale is being held, the name of the owner or reputed owner, and the time and place of the sale). The Sheriff Sales are published for three successive weeks in the Thursday edition prior to the sale. The sheriff sales are published by the Somerset County Bar Association in the Somerset County Law Reporter. Reporting the decisions of the Divisions of the Court of the Fifteenth Judicial District of Pennsylvania, Composed of Somerset County, Officially Designated by the Rule Thereof as the Legal Periodical for the Publication of Legal Notices.
